Market & technical feasibility study for the spa resort in Tskaltubo, Georgia

The city of Tskaltubo is located in the Imereti Region in the Western part of Georgia and was a well-known health destination during the Soviet era. Within the city, there is a 70 hectares park including nine bath facilities (with hot springs) and 16 hotels/sanatoriums (buildings of impressive size, architecture and cultural significance) with around 5’000 beds.

Years of neglect (following the independence) turned a once vibrant health destination into a dilapidated place. We proposed the necessary steps to revive the Medical and Wellness SPA Capital of Eastern Europe:

  • The project was divided into four different parts

  • Analysis of the current situation / market analysis

  • Technical feasibility of all available (existing and potential) assets,

  • Concept development

  • Investor assessment / fund raising concept.

The project was lead by André Gribi under the franchise brand Kohl & Partner.
